At Tubman-King Community Church, we're dedicated to loving one another.  It is the Lord's desire that we love one another in the spirit of love and friendship.  We welcome all who come to worship with us and may all be blessed as we praise God.

There's Hope in Faith

Faith is the substance [assurance] of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).  Having faith in Jesus Christ means relying completely on Him!

There's Peace in Prayer

Throughout the Bible, believers are called to pray. Pray without ceasing! Does prayer really make a difference? Absolutely YES!

There's Life in Jesus

"Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

Our Belief...

WE BELIEVE that there is only one true and living God, the creator and sustainer of all things. God is a spiritual being, without body, parts or passions. God is uniquely holy and triune: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; each is co-equal, co-eternal and co-sovereign.

WE BELIEVE that there is one Savior of humankind, Jesus the Christ. He is the only begotten Son of the Father, born of the Virgin Mary, 100 percent human and 100 percent divine. By his sacrificial death on Calvary's cross, Jesus paid the price sufficient to redeem all humans from sin.

WE BELIEVE that the Holy Spirit is our Comforter during the physical absence of Jesus.  He is the third person of the Godhead and remains active in the world calling the lost to faith and is imparted to the believe at the moment of faith. He is our constant companion, counselor, inspiration and teacher.

WE BELIEVE that humanity is God's greatest creation, made for His glory and tasked with exercising dominion over God's creation.

WE BELIEVE that the Church is the body of Christ and the community of baptized believers. The Church is tasked with following the Apostles teachings, spreading the gospel, caring and praying for and holding each other accountable, strengthening believers and developing disciples.

WE BELIEVE that sin is the wanton disobedience to the will and word of God. All humans are imperfect and none of us is able to live a sinless life or restore ourselves to a righteousness life.  Eternal redemption is the result of forgiveness and forgiveness is obtained by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that the bible is the Word of God: Holy as to nature; Revelatory as to purpose; Inspired by God through prophets and apostles as to authorship; Universal as to application; Complete and Truthful as to content; Personal and Collective as to edification and Primary and Authoritative for all our doctrines and beliefs.

WE BELIEVE that in gratitude for God's promises of joy, victory and peace, we, as individual believers and as the Church, are called to employ our spiritual giftedness to build and expand the Kingdom of God.
